Oct-15: Robert ISAACS OAM JP, State Manager, Aboriginal Home Ownership Scheme (Homeswest) - "Now and Then" - Robert Isaacs was taken from his family and raised at Clontarf Boys Town orphanage. On leaving he was told he was on his own and never to come back! But he did…eventually assuming the role of Chairman of the Board of management. He was the first indigenous person to be elected as a local government councillor and became deputy mayor of Gosnells. As a Bibbulmun elder he works tirelessly in many capacities for his people.

Oct-1: Prof. Jessica MEEUWIG, Inaugural Director, Centre of Marine Futures - She completed her PhD research at McGill University (Canada) in statistical modelling of aquatic ecosystems, with an emphasis on estuaries, eutrophication and mussel aquaculture. Her research interests then returned to her first love: fish. As Deputy Director of Project Seahorse, an international NGO, Jessica worked in SE Asia on the science and management of reef fisheries. Jessica will discuss "WA's Amazing Fish".

Aug-13: Robert FORWARD - Australian Doctors in Africa - Robert Forward is an orthopaedic surgeon in private practice and a consultant in a public teaching hospital. He has made frequent voluntary medical visits to Somalia, Ethiopia and Madagascar. Australian Doctors for Africa is a licensed charity registered in WA. ADFA was founded in 2005 by Dr Forward with the objective of providing voluntary medical, surgical and nursing to areas of need.
