It was an excellent first meeting at CU29, a great venue and a great location back in West Perth being 1275 Hay Street West Perth (old ANZ Bank location). Thanks goes to our President Kym MacCormac and Member Neil Hancock for finding the venue.

Little Things for Tiny Tots Donation

The Club has just donated $5,000 to Little Things for Tiny Tots and will be visiting their premises on Friday morning 12 June 2026 at 10am. They are located at 287 McDonald Street Yokine and all members are welcome to attend. Please let President Kym know on Thursday if you plan on attending.

Little Things for Tiny Tots supplies essential baby items to WA families in need. Using new and pre-loved donations from the community, our volunteers pack boxes filled with 'little things' such as nappies, wipes, clothing, blankets and books, to assist families as they care for their newborn.

They work in partnership with community welfare & social service agencies to distribute essential baby items across WA. For more information see their website link below:

President’s at home – afternoon tea for all members and Partners on 14 June 2026 between 2.00 and 4.00pm at 26 Hood Street Subiaco, parking on Roydhouse Street on the south side of Bunnings at Homebase, there is also a back entrance for 26 Hood Street on Roydhouse Street, call Kym on 0414 865 447. Please RSVP to Kym by 11 June for catering purposes.

 
Breakfast meeting on 18 June will be at Perth Children's Hospital (PCH) for the Nurse of the Year Award presentation, please ensure you attend this meeting to show your support for the Nurses Award.
 
Changeover Night Dinner is booked for Friday 26 June 2026, 6.30 for 7pm start at the Nedlands Golf Club. $75 per head for a two-course meal with a cash bar, see the flyer below for more details. There will be no breakfast meeting on Thursday 25th June.
 
 
RCWP Trust Tax Deduction
Don't forget that our very own Charitable Trust, RCWP Trust offers tax deductions on all donations received before 30 June each year. If you are considering any donations this year please use our Trust as it is important that we show the ATO that we are an active Trust receiving donations each year.
Your donation also helps us as a Club support some very worthwhile charities like: Life Education, Neuromuscular WA, Prison Fellowship, Street Chaplans, Patricia Giles Centre for Domestic Violence, Little Things for Tiny Tots, Polio Plus, Rotary Foundation and Australian Rotary Health.

Guest Speaker
 

The host, Geoff Simpson introduced our Guest Speaker the Honourable Bob Kucera who spoke to us about his move from the Beat to the Front Bench and the interesting moments he had as a Minister and Member of Parliament for Western Australia. It was a very interesting presentation enjoyed by all those who attended.

Geoff Simpson also gave the vote of thanks.

Robs Long Walk Home started April 19
Don't forget all proceeds raised by Robs Walk go to Neuromuscular WA formerly Muscular Dystrophy Association of WA.
Rob has currently raised almost $46,000 towards Neuromuscular WA on his walk, Rob has arrived back in WA and currently walking the Nullabor West of Eucla.
As we have supported this charity for many decades we strongly encourage you to donate to Robs walk using the attached link:
