Showgrounds Community Men's Shed

Wonderful to get an update from Rotarian and Committee Member, John Holman on the current status of the project. All progressing well and our $25,000 contribution is being put to use as part of the building refurbishment.

The Men's Shed will provide a space for men to pursue meaningful interests and hobbies such as craft work, DIY and cooking, with activities are designed to encourage camaraderie and friendships to develop whilst supporting members with regular sessions from qualified professionals in tackling depression and older men’s health issues.

A great initiative across Australia and one West Perth Rotary Club is proud to support.

Join us for Rotary Tree Planting
Great news, we now have a tree planting project in COTTESLOE BEACH! Several members have already said they are coming and we just need a few more.  If you cannot make it for the 3 hours then 1 or 2 hours would be very much appreciated.  We will take the photo for social media at around 10am so please come. This tree planting is being run by Perth NRM in partnership with the Town of Cottesloe and Cottesloe Coastcare Association who happily agreed we can display our Rotary banners. Please let Tina know if you can make it tina.arthur@iinet.net.au and she will register all members as West Perth Rotary.
